About the developer
Walldays is made by one person. Hi, I'm Basil.
I'm a dad, and by day I work in IT as a systems administrator in New Jersey. Keeping things running, and keeping them secure, is what I do for a living.
Walldays started at home. Between work, daycare, appointments and everything else, our week was scattered across two phones. The TV is the one screen we all look at, so that is where I wanted the family calendar to live.
I looked for an app to do it. The free ones didn't look good enough to leave on the wall. The polished ones wanted a subscription before showing a single event, for features a young family doesn't need at the start. So I built the one I wanted.
What I promise
- The calendar stays free. Fully usable, not a trial, with no ads.
- Premium is only for photos and videos, because storing them costs real money. Your originals stay in your own Immich library.
- Your calendar is only ever read. Walldays cannot add, change or delete an event.
- Your family's data is not for sale. It is shown on your TV and nowhere else.
- A person answers. When you write in, the reply comes from me.
Built in a real living room
My own family is the first household on Walldays, and it is on our TV every day. If something is confusing or broken, I find out at home before you do.
